Setzer defeats Wagner/Rose

In the second Cup competition, held at Carroll Valley Country Club (Fairfield, PA), Paul Setzer forged to victory in inimitable fashion.  Saturday's tee time was washed back several hours and the contestants played the flooded course despite pitiful conditions.  Scores were worse than usual, but day 1 was played without handicap and handicaps were agreed upon for day 2. However, Paul Setzer received a call on the "hotline" from metro-DC, and was forced to depart, leaving Wagner and Rose to face the course without him.  With an agreed-upon absentee score, Setzer was victorious, as Wagner and Rose were unable to overtake him.
